How working with us goes, from the first conversation to the monthly routine.
We look at what you have, put a proposal in writing, take over carefully, then run your IT the same way every month. This page walks through each step.

We don't quote until we've seen what you have.
The first conversation and the assessment are free and commit you to nothing. We look at your real environment, because that's what we'd be responsible for.
We look at the people who use IT and who they call today, your offices with their internet links and Wi-Fi, the systems the business runs on, and the risks: untested backups, open access, single points of failure, things nobody wrote down.
If you have documentation, share it. If you don't, that's normal. Writing it down is part of our job.
What we'll ask you for
- Time with someone who knows how things work today
- A walk through your offices, or a remote look where that's enough
- Your current providers and contracts: internet, software, support
- The problems you already know about
Then we send you one written proposal.
It says what we'd take responsibility for, how quickly we'd respond and what it costs each month. We write it for your company, from what we saw.
- Scope
- The people, sites and systems we'd manage, and which of our services apply.
- Coverage hours
- When support is staffed, business hours or around the clock. Monitoring runs continuously either way.
- Priorities and targets
- What counts as P1 Critical, P2 High, P3 Medium and P4 Low, with a response target and a resolution target for each.
- What's included
- What the monthly fee covers, and what we'd quote separately, such as new hardware or a project.
- The fee
- One monthly fee for the managed environment. There's no price list: the fee follows from the scope, the sites and the coverage. Small or occasional needs can be handled per hour instead.
Onboarding happens in a careful order.
Most of the work is at the start. We don't change everything at once. We learn the environment, secure it, then improve it.
Anything that would interrupt work is planned with you and scheduled for when it disturbs the fewest people.
Document everything
Every device, account, link, licence and configuration, recorded and shared with you.
Collect and secure credentials
Admin passwords gathered from wherever they live today and moved into a password vault that belongs to you.
Fix what's critical
Backups that don't restore, exposed remote access, missing protection. The risks that could hurt you now come first.
Standardise
One way to set up a laptop, an account or a firewall rule, applied the same way in every office.
Turn on monitoring
Internet links, servers and key services added to continuous monitoring, so we hear about problems early.
Set up the client portal
Corepath accounts for your team, so every request goes to one place from the start.
Want to know how onboarding would go in your company?
After that, the same routine every month.
Once onboarding is done, your IT runs to a schedule you know in advance.
| What | When | What happens |
|---|---|---|
| Monitoring | Continuously | Internet links, servers and key services are watched, so we usually hear about a problem before your team does. |
| Support | Whenever your team needs it | Requests go through the client portal and are handled within the targets in your agreement. |
| Site visits | On the schedule in your agreement | For plans with visits: routine checks of workstations, the network and Wi-Fi, the internet link, servers, backups, printers and more, with a report after each one. |
| Reports | Every month | The SLA report, your asset register and site-visit reports, sent to your company admins. They can also be generated any time in the portal. |
| Reviews | As often as we agree | We go through the reports with you: what happened, what changed and which risks are still open. We also plan what should change next, such as ageing devices, warranties ending and renewals coming up, so decisions and budgets aren't a surprise. |

Response and resolution targets, escalation and the monthly SLA report are explained on their own page. How service levels work
If you leave, you keep everything.
We'd rather keep clients because the service is good than because leaving is hard. Everything we build and write down for you is yours.
- Documentation
- The full record of your environment and the decisions behind it.
- Configurations
- Firewall, server, network and backup settings, exported and explained.
- Credentials
- Every admin account and password, from the vault that already belongs to you.
- Handover
- A walk-through for your team or your next provider. Then we remove our own access.
Questions about getting started
Is the assessment really free?
Yes. The first conversation and the assessment that leads to a managed IT proposal cost nothing and commit you to nothing. A detailed IT audit delivered as a standalone report is a consulting project, scoped and quoted separately.
How long does onboarding take?
It depends on the number of people, sites and systems, and on what we find. The proposal includes an onboarding plan with the order of work, so you know what happens first and what follows.
Will onboarding interrupt our work?
We keep it to a minimum. Anything that would stop people working is planned with you in advance and scheduled for when it affects the fewest people.
What if we only need help now and then?
A monthly agreement suits companies that want their IT managed. For small or occasional needs we can work per hour instead.
Start with a free first conversation.
Tell us how IT is handled in your company today. One of our engineers reads it and gets back to you. The first conversation is free and doesn't commit you to anything.
What happens next
- You tell us about your environment
- We review your needs
- We schedule a conversation
- We propose the right approach
